My Journey to clearer and healthier skin

My Step-by-Step Process of taking care of my own skin!


A lot of people on my instagram (@_kaysharice_) have been asking me what products do I use to get my skin to glow and look nice and even toned. Even though I did get a little tan from my trip to Guanacaste, Costa Rica my skin still looks great and I will share with you my step by step process that I follow everyday.

Step 1

Step 1- I shower in the morning with Olay's Ultra Moisture Body Wash w/ Shea Butter it smells really good and it makes my skin color even toned and gives it a little glow.









Step 2
Step 2- I wash my face with St. Ives Invigorating Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub you can purchase this at any drugstore. It cleans out my pores and defeats the chances of getting acne or blemishes.

Step 3- I apply a small amount of Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer on my face after I wash my face. It has salicylic acid acne medication in it to prevent pimples and keep my face moisturized all. Be careful not to get this product to close to your eyes because the medicine in it can burn your eyes, not a good feeling.

Step 4- After the shower I dry off my body and moisturize it with Vaseline Total Moisture Cocoa Glow, it's a 24 hour moisture and it smells great. I've been using this for 2 years now  and so far it gives me great results I see a big difference in my skin's color.









Step 5- I indulge in vegetable juice! The smoothie trucks in New York City are starting to get very popular. It's a cheaper alternative to Jamba Juice and their vegetable juices and fruit smoothies are all natural no artificial flavors. I normally buy the Healthy Shake (Spinach, Banana, Mango, Pineapple), the Skin Helper (Apple, Pineapple, Cucumber) or the Rain Forest (Cantaloupe, Spinach, Papaya, Pineapple). I drink one every morning for breakfast instead of coffee. You can blend up these juices at home you don't have to go to the trucks and buy one everyday. They strengthen your hair, skin and nails and it gives you a good amount of protein, vitamin A and calcium in one cup.

Step 6- I take Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies w/ Biotin and I also takeVitaFusion Women's Adult Vitamin Gummies. I prefer the gummies because it's just more convenient for me I just chew and swallow but they do have them in capsule form as well. Vitamins do play a big role of getting healthy skin because Beauty Starts from the Inside!


Step 7
Step 7- I drink at least 3 bottles of water a day, one with my lunch, one after work and one with dinner. Do not get sucked into the world of soda and sugary juices! It's ok to
indulge once in a while but stick to water you will get better results. Believe it or not sometimes it's the sugar that causes facial acne.
Step 8

Step 8- I wash my face with the St. Ives Apricot Scrub again before I go to bed. I wash off my makeup and after drying I put on Freeman Facial Peel-Off Cucumber Mask I leave it on for 45 minutes to an hour then I peel it off.
