Beauty starts from the Inside: Foods for Healthier Skin

Ladies, our skin can be gorgeous if we pay attention to what we put in our bodies. There are certain foods that we can take in to get beautiful skin. Remember, beauty starts on the inside so I am going to share with you the foods that can help us get radiant clear skin and a flawless complexion.

Coconut
Coconut feir has beneficial bacteria that are probiotic, it is three times more effective than probiotic yogurt. The bacteria in the coconut keeps you skin clear by reducing the risk of getting acne.

Tip: drink coconut water in the morning on an empty stomach for great results.



Lemons
Lemon juice helps reduce breakouts and oily skin. It removes fat-soluble toxins which keeps the skin hydrated. It kills bacteria in the mouth and intestines.

Tip: drinking hot water with lemon in the morning is more effective

Red Cabbage

I know there are not a lot of red cabbage fans out there but they are good for you so don't be scared to try it. The purple pigmentation in red cabbage helps to decrease wrinkles and has six times more Vitamin C than green cabbage.


Tip: have some red cabbage in your salad or in your cole slaw, it looks pretty :)


Tomato Juice
For all you beach tanners this is your solution, tomatoes helps prevent UVA and UVB damage. A glass of tomato juice gives you a sun protector factor of 5, it turns dull skin into radiant skin.
Tip: drink organic tomato juice it's better



Dark Berries: Blueberries, Blackberries, Strawberries and Plums
All four of these fruits have high antioxidant source that is great for your body. Antioxidant protects the cells according to webmd.com and it gives you a less chance of damaging them. These fruits also helps to keep the skin looking younger.

Low-Fat Dairy Products
Vitamin A is the most important component of our skin. Our body needs Vitamin A to remain stable and keep our skin clear. Low-fact yogurt is great for the intestines.

Red Grapes
Red grapes as well as grape juice is full of natural antioxidants that treats inflammatory skin conditions.
Tip: drop some red grapes into a fresh salad or eat some as a snack in between meals.

Avocados
Avocados are a great source of Vitamin E which boosts radiant looking skin. It also contains Vitamin C which is used to treat skin inflammation. Avocado oil improves the tone of your skin and produces collagen.
Tip: eating avocado everyday can keep your skin moisturized
